Our Scripture Reading For Today: 1 Corinthians 10:13

“13No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it .”
 (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Once there was a golfer whose drive landed on an anthill. Rather than move the ball, he decided to hit it where it lay. He gave a mighty swing. Clouds
of dirt and sand and ants exploded from the spot….everything but the golf ball. It sat in the same spot. So he lined up and tried another shot.
Clouds of dirt and sand and ants went flying again. The golf ball didn’t even wiggle.
Two ants survived.
One dazed ant said to the other, “Whoa! What are we going to do? We are going to die!”

The other ant replied: “I don’t know about you, but I’m going to get on the ball.”

Talk about perspective. The two ants were both in the same place and were going through the same challenge. The first ant looked at the situation they
were in and saw death; the second ant looked at the same situation and saw a way of escape. Same view, different perspectives. God always has a way
out for you to escape every trial you will go through. He will never leave you desolate or without help.

Child of God, are you looking at that issue from God’s perspective? Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you into the truth of God’s counsel about
that situation? Listen to the Spirit of God.

It is time for you to begin to look at your life from God’s perspective – from the perspective of victory, and not from the perspective of defeat. You
have to make a deliberate decision to push through and reach upwards and forwards. You have to make a choice to keep on keeping on.

Meditate on this Scripture as you round up your devotion for today: 2 Corinthians 4:13-18;

“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,

knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you.

For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

‭‭(2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:13-18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

1. What is God saying to me in today’s message?
2. What was ministered to me in the bible verses that I read today?
3. What are the changes or adjustments I need to make in my life to align with the word of God?
4. What is my commitment to the word for today?
5. What practical steps can I take to benefit from the word I have read today?

If you did not have enough strength to make this declaration into your day today, look forward to tomorrow with excitement and expectation and speak these
words of faith into your day and over your life every day:

“This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!”

Today will bring me great joy and not sorrow in Jesus’s Name.

God bless,
