Whilst meditating on our main scripture text for today (Ezekiel 47:1-12), one cannot fail to see the exactness and precision with which God laid out the vision of His plans and purpose for a coming time.

Welcome to Day 19 of this year’s fasting and prayers. If you’ve made it this far, I congratulate you on your persistence and perseverance. I pray that you reap the fruit of your labour in Jesus’ Name.

The word of the Lord that I keep hearing in my spirit today for this season we are about to enter into, is “preparation”.

In a way, that’s generally part of what we’ve been doing over the past 19 days — preparing ourselves for what God has got planned for us in the new year! But particularly, it has more to do with the specific things that God would have us do, to position ourselves for what God is about to do. (more…)

Fasting and Prayers Day 18 — Pray And Watch

Scripture Reading — Habakkuk 2:1-3; Proverbs 16:3; Ps 37:4-5

 “I could have, should have, would have…”

Well, my friend, what if I told you you still can?!

Today, we’ll be looking in the opposite direction, casting our gaze forward wise, to believe God for a vision for the new year, and to declare His word into the year.

In our first scripture text (Habakkuk 2:1-3), I want us to focus on some universal truths that I think can help us in our Christian Walk. (more…)
